About Me

I am an author/illustrator living in Seattle, WA. I have freelanced for many magazines, newspapers and even a few advertising agencies. I make art out of whatever it takes (from acrylics to zbrush) to make a project work. One of my favorite things about being an illustrator is learning about the many different topics in my assignments. It gives me new things to think about. Please consider me for your next project.

I like to run, ski, cook, eat good chocolate and read about almost anything - especially inventors and dead presidents.

I have a certificate in Writing for Children from the University of Washington. I am a member of SCBWI (Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators). I have a BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts.

In addition to working on children's books and taking on freelance assignments, I am the founder/owner/janitor of Dabble, a drop in art studio in Seattle's Greenwood/Phinney Ridge neighborhood.
